Everyone’s favourite childhood memory might have occurred in an amusement park. At one point in our lives, we all probably have begged our parents to bring us to the local theme park as a weekend treat. We’d run around the park, cotton candy on hand, and couldn’t wait to gain enough height to be allowed in the more extreme attractions. But now that we’re adults, the novelty of these places have gone. Still, there are times that we miss the more carefree days of our youth. During those days, why not visit these memorable places once again? Feel like a kid again when you travel around Asia by checking out these theme parks around the region. They’re lesser known than your usual Disneyland or Universal Studios parks, but we guarantee they’re worth your visit.
Fuji-Q Highland, Fujiyoshida, Japan
Visiting at least one of the two Disney parks or Universal Studios in Japan would probably be part of your itinerary. But, unbeknownst to most tourists, the country has tons of other fun theme parks you can visit. One of those is Fuji-Q Highland located at the foot of Mount Fuji. People go there not only for the anime-themed attractions but also for the scenic environment. If you decide to ride one of their record-breaking roller coasters, try your hardest to keep your eyes open for a superb view of the country’s tallest peak.
